NuLife is a non-profit organization, dedicated to helping veterans who have sacrificed unselfishly and courageously for our country. They leave their families, friends and everything they're familiar with to ensure our liberties and rights as American citizens are protected. Some return home with mental health issues such as flashbacks, suicidal tendencies and depression, while others return maimed and disabled. Still others need physical, emotional and spiritual therapy.
We are forever grateful and humbled by their willingness to protect those of us who remain safe and free to work, worship and enjoy our lives. NuLife desires to show our love and gratitude to our heroes, the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
Our message for those who have served:
We love you! May god bless and continue to keep you and your families.
Short Term Goals:
Open facility as soon as possible to get homeless veterans off the streets and into a clean, safe environment with lots of love and support.
Long Term Goals:
Acquire properties and continued funding to keep homeless veterans off the streets by providing them with temporary to permanent housing.
NuLife will conduct weekly street outreach to locate and assist homeless veterans in our service area, which includes Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties. NuLife will refer homeless veterans to appropriate social service agencies, provide contact information and offer transportation to shelters to those who accept our help.
